Le Good Society gaat voor plasticvrije juli in wereldwijde tentoonstelling
Le Good Society focust op positieve culturele veranderingen maken door middel van kunst en technologie. In juli willen zij met een groep kunstenaars iedereen inspireren om minder plastic te gebruiken tijdens Plastic Free July (en daarna).
De tentoonstelling is getiteld ‘Let’s Live With Less Plastic’ en is te zien op New York’s Times Square, in Nederland en in Los Angeles.
Kunst vertelt een verhaal
Het werk dat te zien zal zijn is gemaakt door onder andere Josh Pierce, Donk, Craig Keenan, Maria Strzelecka, Tia Grazette, Denis Sheckler, Rico McClean, Lucia Simone, Linda Baritski, Miki Tanuma, Ben Mucchi, Kristie Taylor and Cybernetic Harts. "Placing these artworks in public spaces is a powerful way to remind everyone of the plastic pollution crisis the world is facing while encouraging everyone to be a part the solution", zegt Tia Grazette, oprichter van Le Good Society. "Art is such an ideal way to convey important messages about the state of the planet and society in general."
"Some amazing established and up-and-coming artists will appear in major cities for the art exhibition," vertelt Grazette. De tentoonstelling is tot 31 juli door heel Nederland te zien. Van 17 tot 31 juli zijn de werken te zien op Times Square in New York en Courtyard Marriott in Los Angeles.
